Director of Indian Photography Festival, Aquin Mathews introduces a Indian photography discussion, including works by photographers from India.

Indian Photography Festival – Hyderabad, a Not-For-Profit initiative of the Light Craft Foundation along with the Govt. of Telangana is India’s newest international photography festival, showcasing a wide range of photography across all genres from portraits and landscape through photojournalism to fine-art by emerging and legendary photographers from India and around the globe. The festival aims at congregating the greatest minds in the field of photography and showcasing the works of emerging & renowned photographers from all across the world and bring them to India, at the same time establishing a global platform for learning through various events.

The IPF turns the city of Hyderabad into a living cross-section of cutting edge photography by creating a platform for the professional and aspiring photographers, the photography lovers and the public.  IPF strives to promote the art of photography at the same time addressing the social issues through the medium of photography. IPF is a citywide, highly participatory event that explodes in arts and culture venues, on the streets and in communities.

The second edition of IPF in Hyderabad is from 30th September to 9th October 2016.
