Botanica offers a new perspective on the well-established tradition in the arts of using botany metaphorically. Drawing inspiration from Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, the work seeks to create an oxymetaphorical interpretation of the ethos of Heaven, Hell and Purgatory. These works ultimately question conventions by presenting evocative interpretations that reflect the abstract and often nebulous nature of theological space.
