The Simon Devitt Prize for Photography is awarded annually in recognition of the best student photograph from the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries, University of Auckland. This year’s exhibition is set to showcase unique photographic perspectives from some of New Zealand’s emerging creative minds with diverse backgrounds in fine art, music, dance, architecture, urban planning and urban design.
The winning entry will receive the Simon Devitt Prize for Photography 2019; a trophy, $1,000 award, and a Canon camera. The prizes are made possible with thanks to our valued sponsors Simon Devitt and John Leech Framing Workshop.
