Broken City has a lens on the NZ Graffiti community and the plight to have the artform validated. Traipsing the NZ Graffiti archive collections held with the Auckland Libraries, Broken City displays photographic images from a range of photographers and Graf writers who have contributed to the diaspora and landscape of some of Aotearoa’s major cities. From legal walls to some questionable images the exhibition intends to create robust conversation.
