A photographic installation from the collaborative project 'Solar Familia' which explores the psychological and physical struggles of a family displaced, who find themselves inhabitants of the unfamiliar in their own homeland. The Unfound is a memoir of anxious fragments hoarded as tokens against lost memory and lost identity. The photographic form is employed in a variety of modes, exploring the universal desire for capturing life in photographs, underscoring at least in some part the fear that without this visual proof we may all lose either memory or identity or both.
