Tammy Williams - Studio One
A darkly beautiful tale of viewer and performer, artist and audience. This photography show delves into the shimmering backstage spectacle of the Royal New Zealand Ballet, dissolving the distinction between the seen and the unseen. Ends Saturday 15th June.

Magical Pollinators - Kinder House
The Moths and Butterflies of New Zealand Trust goal is to save our butterflies and moths. This photographic display features a gallery of 30 photographs of our Lepidoptera, and aims to bring the magic of nature's knowledge to New Zealanders/Aotearoa. Check opening times at this historic heritage venue before heading out.

Alex Mao Youth Photo Award 2024
Image Auckland [tāmaki makaurau] are delighted to present the 6th annual Alex Mao Youth Photo Award which will take place again during June.
This is an annual photography grant for emerging photographers, at the start of their careers or study. We invite photographers and artists under 25 years to enter their NZ photography work/photo essay/project for the 1st place cash grant, NZ$1200 and a trophy, and are delighted with the support from Alex Mao Photography Foundation and to Print Art for the introduction of NZ$500 print and frame voucher 2nd place and certificate.
Entries open this Saturday, 15th June through to 30th June 2024. Entries will be via Auckland Photo Blog. Terms and Conditions apply.
Supported by the Alex Mao Photo Foundation, Print Art and presented by Image Auckland [tāmaki makaurau] - winners announced in early July and Award giving in Auckland w/c 8th July.
See all our wonderful Youth Photo Award winners since 2019. To date over $6600 has been Awarded to support Youth photographers in NZ through this Award.
