Mark Adams: A Survey | He Kohinga Whakaahua is the first comprehensive survey of Adams' work, featuring over 65 photographs spanning 50 years. His practice documents Aotearoa’s landscapes, histories, and cultural exchanges, from sites of Te Tiriti o Waitangi signing to Māori whakairo and Samoan tattooing traditions. A book co-published with Massey University Press accompanies the exhibition.

On Sunday 8 June, join Photographers on Photography, a panel discussion led by photographer Edith Amituanai, discussing Adams photography. See the Gallery's website for more details and additional public programmes.

Venue: Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki, Corner of Wellesley and Kitchener Streets

The exhibition is proudly supported by the Auckland Art Gallery Foundation.
