In 2020 Tatsiana was commissioned by Wellcome Photography Prize in the UK. She and four other international photographers were asked to create a body of work for the COVID - 19 Anxiety Project. Her work for this project was exhibited at the Auckland Photography Festival in 2021 as a part of the Digital Screens programme - Her images have been published and exhibited internationally.
Chypsanava is a member of Women Photograph and works in the museum and heritage sector. She has been a multiple year winner and a finalist for the New Zealand Geographic Photographer of The Year competition.
Tatsiana won the World Press Photo 2025, with her long term project Asia Pacific Oceania, with the series: Te Urewera – The Living Ancestor of Tūhoe People.
