Encompass Auckland is a photography exhibition from the Auckland Museum collections. Placing the Museum at the heart of the city Encompass Auckland will look out to the symbols and identity of the Auckland region, including the city centre, Waitakere Ranges and Hauraki Gulf.
The exhibition presents iconic Auckland landmarks through the ages, from early New Zealand photographers such as George Valentine, Bill Beattie and Una Garlick to more recent Museum acquisitions.
A full public programme of events based around this exhibition will be advertised on our website and in the newspapers once details are confirmed.
