American photojournalist John Chapman lived and worked in London from 1980 until his recent move to New Zealand. As a contributor to The Guardian and The Times he documented many of the major news stories of our time from the Palestinian Intifada to the fall of communism in Eastern Europe. The black and white images included in the exhibition span the decade from 1980 - 1990, telling the story of the ever-changing social and political landscape of the time.
John Chapman will talk on Saturday 21 June at 11am.
