Image Auckland presents a special outdoor display celebrating Music, Concerts and Performances in New Zealand. The exhibition is a selection of entries from the first two Aotearoa Music Photography Award (2021/22) - in a boutique walk-by street exhibition in the heart of Takapuna.
Professional and amateur photographers alike were invited to send in their images taken at live gigs, concerts, backstage or at Festival or community events. All genres and styles of photography were welcome as long as they were music related. All images were taken in Aotearoa by a great selection of NZ based photographers, photographing both New Zealand and international acts.
Our 2023 Aotearoa Music Photo Award winners, 1st prize Andrew Cornaga and 2nd prize Amanda Hodge were unveiled at our launch event on 26th May.
Over the weekend they took up pride of place at our Takapuna outdoor street exhibition, which coincides with NZ Music Month. Dont forget to go see this during the next few weeks!
