An exhibition of photographic portraiture and self portraiture by contemporary artists interested in visually exploring humans and humanity. The artists will employ photographic techniques from traditional to modern digital manipulation.

Waiheke Photographers Collective is a newly formed group of 37 keen photographers - amateurs, professionals and artists - living on Waiheke Island. In this exhibition they have assembled a range of images centred on the theme of identity and belonging.

Willow Harfleet follows the success of last years 'Locals' show with 'Massey Matters', which focuses on members of the diverse community of Massey in West Auckland. Willow is a Ten year old girl, and her photos offer a unique view point and perspective into the world around her.

In capturing that moment in time the photographers have attempted to convey their sense of the subject as they identify with their environment. The viewer is invited to step into that moment and share the photographer's connection with the people they wish to celebrate.

The Film Archive is pleased to present SHOT! a survey exhibition of Simon Raby's career as Director of Photography. Spanning nearly every genre, and nearly every budget size, from Peter Salmon's The Creakers, to 2nd Unit DOP on Lord of the Rings, Simon is one of New Zealand's most well respected cinematographers.

A permanent exhibition by photographer Peter James Quinn, documenting life along the Great South Road at the beginnings of the 21st Century now hangs at the southern entrance to the TelstraClear Pacific Event Centre in Manukau City.
