Waiheke Photographers Collective is a newly formed group of 37 keen photographers - amateurs, professionals and artists - living on Waiheke Island. In this exhibition they have assembled a range of images centred on the theme of identity and belonging. A group of photographers living in a community with a strong sense of its own identity has created a multi-façeted exhibition illustrating the sense of identity from many and varied viewpoints. Views and images reflect both the background and experiences of each member and the feelings of identifying with their own community.
